The Emerald Cup is an opportunity for your program(s) to participate in one final “tune-up” before the WIAA dead period. The passing tournament will guarantee each team four (4) games with an opportunity for more. Teams will be placed in pools based on classification (first three games) and then be seeded in the tournament for the fourth game. Teams will be placed into brackets according to classification when possible. The tournament will be single elimination with the final game winner being awarded the coveted Emerald Cup. Each game will be a 15 minute running clock and start from the 45 yard line going in. Teams will be given three downs to gain 15 yards and four downs inside the 10. Offensive teams will have four seconds to release the pass, which will be counted by a QB—Tee.

The Emerald Cup will be played at Emerald Ridge High School, which is Puyallup School District’s newest high school. Emerald Ridge also has some of the nicest facilities in the area. All games will be played on the grass of either our football, soccer, or baseball fields. All of these fields are located on campus and will be in great shape for the tournament.

How do I get to Emerald Ridge?
Directions from downtown Puyallup:
Go up South Hill on Meridian to 176th Street.
Take a left onto 176th/Sunrise Blvd.
Turn right at the stop light on 122nd (right turn lane).
Turn left at the bottom of the hill onto 184th.
Emerald Ridge is on the left side of the road. Take the first entrance for the gymnasium, and the third for the main building.
